That's total control...right down to the option of paying only for the inventory you use, when you use it. Thanks to Spencer's high-tech, computerized Automatic Inventory Management System and their superior commitment to service, your entire onsite inventory can now be managed on a consignment basis.
Unbelievable Flexibility
With the AIM system you have total control and unbelievable flexibility-the system can track any kind of inventory. Take your pick from three options:
- Consignment: Includes the system, the inventory and the barcoding for all the Spencer-supplied items. You get automatic billing, submission of orders and electronic messaging service.
- Controlled: Available with consigned inventory from Spencer. Gives you the option to label and track other items besides Spencer fasteners.
- Unrestricted: Available with the controlled inventory option. Configured to track any item using its existing barcoded label. Eliminates the need to create more labels for new items.
And the system is designed to be even more flexible still. Options include: multiple scanners, multiple customers, multiple customer types, multiple users and multiple inventories. Your single warehouse can have several scanners operating at same time. Or you can have one scanner for several warehouses. In other words, it's easily tailored to meet your specific needs.
SIX MONTH'S INVENTORY
Up to eight weeks inventory prepackaged and stored at your location. In case of emergency, we keep a six month supply at the nearest of our seven distribution centers through out the South and Midwest.
ALL IT TAKES IS ONE FINGER
If you can dial a touch-tone phone, you can operate Spencer's Automatic Management System. It's nearly impossible to make a mistake.
Here's How it works:
Scan the inventory - either as you use each item or at regular intervals to determine what's left.
Place the scanner in its cradle and the information is automatically transferred to the computer.
The order is automatically transferred to Spencer via the modem and the process is complete.
The computer automatically generates reports customized to your format.
Report Generations:
a. Listing all parts and all locations.
b. Listing one part and one location.
c. Listing multiple parts in multiple locations.
And every barcode label includes the quantity, your part number, your location and lot number.

Batteries included...along with installation and training.
